Well, here I am, back home in Flori-duh. It was hard to tear myself away from Tennessee, I tell ya. While road trips can be fun, they can also be a mite tedious also. I didn't do as much of the driving as was expected. On the way back, mom mostly took the interstates and they terrify me.
But! I have pictures! I posted them on my Facebook page, but I can link to them without having to have anyone sign up or anything, although the majority of my friends are already on Facebook.
Here they are if you wanna looksee:
One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six.

tenel_ka, I now found a new way to waste my time:

In case you're wondering, it's supposed to be me.
Work was... work. I had to get myself back into the swing of things after being away for awhile, but I eventually got my old rhythm back. I wish I had more time to unwind from vacation, but that's the way of things sometimes...
However, we get back home in time to run face into a hurricane! Welcome home!! /sarcasm.

Today in History: 1990The first shots were fired by the United States in the Persian Gulf Crisis when a U.S. frigate fired rounds across the bow of an Iraqi oil tanker.

I understand the not wanting to fool around in local waters thing. We have gators lurking about every where in Louisiana.
I really like the hot air balloon pics (so pretty) and the cat pics. I have an obvious weakness for felines. I can't help it! They're just so...independent and arrogant and sleek. I love cats. Though it looked fun, btw, I would have crapped my pants in the hot air balloon. I'm so afraid of heights that it's just ridiculous. I couldn't even stand being in the buggy when I was a kid -__-'.
Ah, a marching band. I remember those days. In the middle of the winter time, we'd have to march in Christmas parades. By the end of our (what seemed like) endless-mile march, we were covered in sweat from head to toe. And one year, I decided to march in new band shoes. I had a blister the size of my freaking thumb on the back of my heel >__<. Sorry for the rant; marching bands just give me weird flashbacks ^^;.
I'm glad that you enjoyed your vacation my dear. It was much too short though, wasn't it? I know, I know.

Doing my best! All we can do is ride it out. Believe me, I've been through a lot worse.
Plus our water is so murky. We have a small pond here at our apartment complex, and I've seen a gator in there even.
Me too! I would so love to go up in one and be able to see everything down below. I took pictures of all the pets of the people we stayed with.
Never been in a band. Those were taken at the Indiana State Fair, and the first day is what's called Band Day. Bands all across the state come and compete with each other. I can only imagine how hot some of them are.
Yes, it was. I just wished I had more time to recover from it. I still have to unpack...
