snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Grozit! (lowflyingicons))
Well, I'm still Mac-less. *siiiigh* I have absolutely no idea what to do about it either and it's pissing me off. Here I have a perfectly fine laptop and I can't even use it for the reason I bought it. So to say that I'm annoyed is an understatement. *fumes*

Speaking of which:

What. The. Frak?!?!?! How could they blow up Starbuck?!?! She's an important aspect of the entire show! There goes my hope for a Starbuck/Apollo hookup (although, they did share a nice moment I must say). Crud. I mean, just because it's de rigueur to kill off important characters (i.e Lost and Heroes), but give me a break!

Still, there's a small glimmer of hope since it's remotely possible she survived. However, if it turns out she's a Cylon, I'm gonna have to hurt someone.

Next week's episode focuses on Baltar, so they're gonna drag this out til Doomsday I fear…

I managed to store some more of my manga. Not under my bed since it's crammed under there, but in my closet. So it's kindasorta easy to get to still. I have an extra storage box, but I don't know what I'm gonna do with it. I'll probably use it eventually.

I'm reading Allegiance and it's set right after A New Hope, so it's kinda fun to read and chuckle to myself, knowing how things are gonna unfold with some of the characters.

And I'm still plugging away at [livejournal.com profile] kawaiiayu's scarf. Hopefully she'll be able to get it in time to wear for next winter. *siiiigh*

What's the deal with your MacBook? (What were you wanting to do with it that you're unable to?)

For some reason it won't let me connect onto the internet. Aside from that, it works fine, but the primary reason I bought it was so I could surf the Internet away from my desktop. I've tried all sorts of things to try to solve the problem, but nothing's worked.

Have you tried resetting the modem itself? Once when I changed rooms on my iMac it would not find the interne at all, and I tried all I could think of to get it to work. Finally I reset the modem, and boom, the iMac recognized the internet.

If that doesn't work, try hooking your laptop up to the modem directly, then run diagnostics. (Open System Preferences, go to Network, click the Assist Me button, then hit Diagnostics.) That ought to tell you exactly where the connection problem is.

I've reset both the modem and the router to no effect. I'll try the other option and see how that works.

Thanks.
