snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (GG -- Rory and Jess (boozesnooze))
*snickers* I got that from the Sloganizer on my userinfo page. It changes everytime the page is refreshed and that one was one from yesterday. I thought it was funny.

Well, I set up a phone interview for the place I applied for. *crosses fingers* Hopefully I won't be too nervous and totally spaz during it.

And I think fate has determined it's going to allow me to stay at home during the 'Gilmore Girls' episode where Jess makes an apperance. I've always like Rory and Jess together. I haven't seen enough of the show lately to really say if I completely like Logan or not. I mean, yeah he's cute and rich and smart and all, but he seems a bit too reckless. Jess has gotten his act together and has made strides in the literary world. In last night's episode, he's gone in with a few friends of his to open up an indie bookstore/cafe in Philadelphia. Rory stops by and tells him that she's gotten back on track what with going back to school, editing the school paper and reconnecting with her mom. Jess also thinks this meant breaking things off with Logan (whom he doesn't like). It's obvious he still has some feelings for her (*squee*) since he kissed her (*squee* *squee*). Rory however still made it clear that she still was involved with Logan. Although Jess was disappointed, he respected Rory's decision and then told her that if she wanted to, she could tell Logan that they did something in order to get back at him for cheating on her when they broke up. She just smiled.

And I was able to catch a new eppy of 'Veronica Mars' last night. Veronica is being plagued by nightmares of the students who were killed in the bus crash. She's trying to use them as clues as to who might've been on the bus that had a hand in the crash. I personally found it to be a little bit confusing. Also, Logan and Wallace were teamed up for an egg drop assignment in class. It seems whoever won got out of the difficult Final Exam. This one girl they were teamed up against (who was originally teamed with Dick, but he blew it of course) was this real snobby girl who was up against Veronica for the Kane Scholarship and who also got accepted into Stanford same as Veronica. However, the girl has a slightly higher GPA due to this 'Semester at Sea' study program she had taken which had given her extra credit. Veronica, of course, couldn't take the course because of the cost. So Wallace really wanted to win so the girl would have to take the Final and possibly lower her GPA, allowing Veronica an edge. He asked Logan why he was participating, and he said it was because of the thrill of competition, but I think he really wanted to give Veronica the edge too. Wallace kinda figured that he wanted that too, but didn't question him about it. Going into it, I don't think Wallace really liked Logan all that much, but afterwards, he might see him a bit differently. Not that they'll become best friends or anything, but he's come to a bit of an understanding about him. Sometime later, in the hallways, Veronica runs into Logan. She makes a snarky comment and he walks away, but you can tell he was hurt by what she said. Wallace steps up and tells her that maybe she should go a little easy on him. The look of complete and utter shock on her face was priceless. You could tell she was sort of thinking, "Wallace?! Standing up for Logan?!" I thought it was really nice of him, though. And you can so totally tell that, from this episode and from last episode, that he still definitely has some feelings for her. Poor Loge.

Oh, that reminds me. Does anyone have a copy of the song "Sway" by The Perishers they'd be willing to share? *puppy dogs and sparkles*

I have some errands I have to do today. Like I need a few groceries and I have to mail my taxes off so they can be postmarked before Saturday. No housework though for today. Sometimes I get a day or two off from that, which I like.

Trivia of the day: During the Renaissance when Charles VIII's armies entered France, he also brought with him his passion for perfume. Charles even had his own personal perfumer. Rose, orange blossom, and rosemary oil were favorite scents in his court.
