Well, so much for trying to update more often...
A quick little post to let everyone know I am still alive and do communicate outside of my Twitter page.
I got my Kindle Monday that I ordered using some of my tax return money. Thank you, Federal Government! So far I like it. I've downloaded a few inexpensive books, such as the entire series of Wizard of Oz books (15 in total) for only $0.99! Pretty cool! There are some books unavailable for it though, like the Harry Potter series, which is a bit of a disappointment, but there's nothing I can do about it really.
Work has been a little stressful. It's a bonus month and everyone is freaking out about us getting all of our charges posted. We can only post what we receive. If it's not enough to make budget, there's really nothing we can do about it. But, naturally, we get the brunt of the blame for it. It kinda sucks being made the fall guys for not making budget for the month, like we're deliberately not posting our charges and payments and all of that.
So our boss is kinda freaking out a little. She's been getting kinda nitpicky about things. I understand she's getting pressure from her bosses, but she needs to chill out about it. We're doing the best we can do under the circumstances. I'll be glad when this is over with though...
