Well, I had my "D'urrrrr" moment of the day today. I went to start the car to leave, and it wouldn't start for some reason. I tried all sorts of things, like turning the wheel in case it was locked... nada. It kept making this buzzing sound and at first I thought it was the anti-theft device or something, so I went looking through the manual to see if there was a way to disable it. No soap. I went back up to my office so I could call mom and see if she knew how to disable it, while trying not to panic in the meantime. She didn't know. So I went back downstairs to the parking lot and I looked closer and noticed the lights had been on. Now, this being a car I'm not familiar with, I didn't know of the warning to indicate that the lights were in fact on. My car won't let you turn the car off when the lights are on and such. So I had to call one of my co-workers to give me a jump before picking up mom.
