snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Pip -- oh please)
A quick update on the car sitch:

When I went to get gas yesterday, I put some Gumout in the tank beforehand. Well, it must've done the trick because the noise stopped. Now that I think about it, when all this kerfuffle started was when I totally ran out of gas and had to call AAA to bail me out. When I restarted it, some of the dregs got loose and clogged up the works. Then it began making the high-pitched squealing noise. So I told mom to hold off on the mechanic's for the time being. Why pay money I don't have when I don't need to.

Mom and I had been watching the Anne of Green Gables miniseries over the course of the week. I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy them.

Mom informed me today that her supervisor has decided to move her into the secretarial float pool at work. She noticed mom was suffering from massive burnout being with the doctor she's with now (who, incidentally, happens to be my PCP). At least she won't get a decrease in pay. She be "starting" in about two weeks or so. Hopefully she can find a satisfactory position somewhere permanent.

Right now, she's over at my aunt's, enjoying a basketball game.

Now, to resolve a minor dilemma. Should I watch Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version), some MSTis or a mini Harry marathon? Hmmm, decisions decisions.
