snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Dougan -- demon form)
If our landlord think he's gonna try and sell us this house for $150,000 he's crazy. I know other houses in the area sell for that much, but they're in much better shape. So we're going to look into various options, such as realtors, appraisers (since our LL is too cheap to hire one of his own), and mortgage brokers. We have some connections at our church, so hopefully it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Still, keep those prayers a comin', those of you who do (and even those who don't).

I just finished reading the latest in the 'Princess Diaries' series, 'Princess in Training.' I like the movies, but the books are so much better. Besides, I really relate to Mia in the books (except for her facination with Britney Spears). She's as much of a geek as I am. But she tends to overreact more than I do. In one part, during a debate for Student Council President election, she makes an impassioned speech on the importance of anime! In fact, she goes "Give me anime or give me death!" Right on, sister.

So now I've started on the ST:NF anthology 'No Limits.' I shall be posting my opinion on [livejournal.com profile] stnf

I heard on the radio this morning about a guy in Wisconsin who rides his horse to school (where he teaches) in order to save on gas. It used to take him 10 minutes and now it takes about 3 to 4 hours. When asked how long he plans on doing it, he said until it gets too dark and too cold to do it. Whether or not he gets the desired reaction is up to debate. In fact, I don't think he did it for a protest, just for economics.

And on ATACT [livejournal.com profile] peleia is using my Dougan icon! I feel so pleased!

*sends good thoughts and prayers*

As you probably know, I'm a huge Deep Space 9 fan. And my fav character was Gul Dukat. Sort of fits my men trends though!LOL

*hugs* Good luck!

I really wish I could ride Mikey to work, but they don't have anywhere to stable him and I think he'd flip his wig if I tried it. ^^;;

Well, nothing is determined yet. I mean, I'd be nice to have a nicer place, but it'd probably be more expensive so it's best we just stay put, if possible.

And, again, thanks for all the support.

Really? I really liked DS9 also. I really loved the relationship between Kira and Odo. My favorite episode has to be "His Way" from season six.

Yay! A fellow Trekker!

Thanks.

He says he built a little fenced in area on the school grounds (witrh permission, of course) and he stops by periodically to check on Dusty (the horse). Makes sure he has plenty of water and food et al. The kids just love him (the horse, I mean).

And this gives me the opportunity to use my new icon I made...

In the Pale Moonlight with Sisko having to decide whether to assassinate the Romulan ambassador or the one with Sisko dreaming that DS9 was a dream. Remember it ended with him writing on the walls of a padded cell. Great scripts:)

I've always kinda wanted to learn to ride, but I've never had the opportunity...

Yay1 Glad you likey! The text is song lyrics from a song I really like called, ironically enough, "Wild Horses" from a group called The Sundays.

It's such a huge part of my life that I can barely remember a time I didn't ride, and that comporised the first nine years of my life.

Love it! ^_^ Horses, wooo!

Yeah, I don't like that one as much as your other one. Something about the white horses and the white font. ^^;;
