Well, as evidenced by my last entry, I got crapped on yesterday. Not in the literal sense, of course but I might as well have been. Perhaps I should clarify--
I usually pre-order certain series, mostly Fruits Basket. I was told I'd be recieving my order soon. I did, yesterday. Only I didn't quite get what I had expected. I got my volume of 'Immortal Rain' I had ordered, but the other book that was included wasn't Fruits Basket # 10. It was Kare Kano, a series I've heard of, but don't read. *sigh* I was furious. I wanted waht I had already paid for, damn it.
So, I sent of a polite e-mail indicating the problem. I'll also be going to the post office today to return the book I don't want and hopefully get the one I do want in exchange or something. I don't quite know how it works since nothing like this has ever happened to me before. So I'm still quite annoyed...
However, in addition to my copy of IR (which I plan to gush about later), I also received my two Japanese volumes of Furuba 16 and 17 I had ordered. That almost made up for getting screwed. I can't really read them, but they're chocked full of juicy pictures. Several of which I intend to scan for future purposes.
I got to the point where I can recognize the kanji for three names: Akito, Isuzu and Kureno. Also, the whole story about Tohru's parents looks very cute. I just need to find translations somewhere so I can read the dialogue.
So my happiness quota for yesterday was at about 80-85%.

Looking forward to your comments on it. I can't wait to get my copy and finally be able to ogle Eury in English.

I'll probably post my thoughts and whatnot on my anime/manga journal in the next few days. And, of course, I plan on scanning pics!
BTW, any news on if 7 is coming out in Japan? I mean, there has to be more since 6 ends on a cliffhanger.
