Well, I downloaded a bunch of brushes and fonts from
teh_indy yesterday and did some more fiddling. I was quite happy with how my little 'experiment' turned out, actually. Wanna see? Here it is:

Not too shabby, if I say so myself. The picture is just a sample on my computer. The wording might be a bit hard to make out (winter...), but I just need to be sure to correct that on future icons. I'm working on a Rain one and an Alucard one, too so...
I did want to try and use some of the lyrics I posted on an Akito icon, but I don't think I'll be able to be the one to do it since I don't have any pictures to use and I've only just started on it, so it wouldn't be all that great. Oh well!
*sigh* Everytime I make an entry, I always have to go back and correct the spelling errors I always make. If I wasn't so anal, I might be able to leave them, but I hate reading others entries that have errors, so I don't want to be a hypocrite. Mostly the mistakes I make are due to the fact I try to type as fast as I think, so letters get dropped, transposed or even misplaced. It doesn't help matters any that my spelling is pretty crappy. I try to do the best I can, but there are some words I almost always stumble over. Believe it or not, I do in fact, have a college degree.
