snapdragon76: this is made of win and awesome (Aki/Gure hand (flamika))
Well, for anyone who's curious, the results of my meme yesterday are up. To spare you from having to look for them, here they are in case you wanna see. You know you do, admit it.

Imagine my great fortune when I found the lyrics to that song I like! I was also surprised to discover it wasn't performed by the group I had thought performed it. In fact, It's performed by an English group called 'The Sundays.' The things you learn. Anyway, here are the lyrics:

Wild Horses

Childhood living
Is easy to do
The things that you wanted
I brought them for you

Graceless lady
You know who I am
You know I can't let you
Just slide through my hands

Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away

I watched you suffer
A dull, aching pain
And now you decided
Just to show me the same

No sweeping exits
Or off-stage lines
Can make me feel bitter
Or treat you unkind

Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses
Couldn't drag me away

Faith has been broken
Tears must be cried
Let's do some living
After we die

Wild horses
Couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses
Couldn't drag me away

Wild, wild horses
We'll ride them someday
Wild, wild horses
We'll ride them someday

Here's the song if anyone wants to download it and listen:

"Wild Horses" by The Sundays. Only up for a week, folks...

Actually, now that I've gotten to see the lyrics, it's more a song for Akito as opposed to Rin, despite the name. Judge for yourselves...

In other news, I watched 'Lost' last night and my reaction is as follows:

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! WHY DEAR GOD, WHY????? WHY DID THEY KILL OFF MY FAVORITE CHARACTER?!?!?!?! WHYYYYYY!?!?!?!?" *chokes back sobs* What is it with my favorite shows, manga, novels, et al that they kill off my favorite characters!!! Dammit!!!!

Quote of the day: "When we live life centered around what others like, feel, and say, we lose touch with our own identity. I am an eternal being, created by God. I am an individual with purpose. It's not what I get from life, but who I am, that makes the difference." --Neva Coyle (preach it, sister)

Aww. I'm sorry that he was your favourite character. That sucks. *hugs* I've seen a few people say that. It must be especially sad for you guys. :(

Is that the same song as the Mazzy Star one? It says Mazzy Star when I try to download it.

That song is growing on me. I'm starting to like it a lot. :)

Did you see the music that I posted?

Originally by the Rolling Stones. [/pedant] The Sundays version is very nice though.

Yeah, I never changed it when I uploaded it onto YouShareIt.com. It never was by Mazzy Star, it was always by The Sundays, just constantly mistaken for having been by Mazzy Star.

Isn't it catchy?? If this song were a man, I'd marry it, I love it that much.

Yeah, I think I did...

Really? I'll have to listen to it and compare the two. At any rate, I am in love with The Sundays version...

If you do want to hear it and can't find it I have it. But it's not as pretty as the Sundays version; I'll admit that. I also have the Mazzy Star version which I quite like.

Did Mazzy Star do a version? I read on a website of theirs that many people think they did it, but it was really The Sundays version that was mistaken for them. Was that really confusing how I said that?

Ah heck, you're right >< I listened to it by itself and thought "Yeah, OK, I also have the Mazzy Star version." But it's really the Sundays. *deletes extra copy*

I do like Mazzy Star but I haven't heard her in ages, so I make dumb mistakes like that.

Yay me! And the only song I have of theirs is "Fade Unto You" which is a really good one. I likes it!

And believe me whe I say you're not the only one to make that mistake!!
