Hmm, I'm considering making another LJ for just my manga/anime blatherings. Some of you out there may not give two hoots about me going on about stuff like that. I'd keep this one just for my basic life stuff. Beings that this one is a paid account, I'd probably have the other one be free. It's just a thought, anyway.

Shiina Yuya of Samurai Deeper Kyo
Which of the Samurai Deeper Kyo Cast Are You?

Speaking of which, I got "Samurai Deeper Kyo" vol. 8 in the mail the other day. We haven't seen Kyoshiro in a loooong while and I wonder when he's gonna show up again, or even if he's gonna show up again. Also, we find out who killed Yuya's brother! It's Kyoshiro! I sorta figured it out a couple of volumes ago, actually. The thing is, why did he do it, exactly. With Kyoshiro, I doubt it was done arbitrarily. In the memory, he was speaking to a teetering on the edge of consiousness Yuya, who had been injured (by him) explaining his reasons. Of course, she didn't catch what they were since she was beginning to black-out at the time.

Interesting. I like this series so far. The art is super. The only thing is, I don't like the way Kamijyo-sensei draws feet for some reason. I guess i think they look weird. Maybe it's just me. This is one of the few series where I know nothing about what's going to happen ahead of time. With all the others, I've been able to do good research and find out stuff, but not this one. There are so many characters and plot lines that it's hard to look ahead too much and try and understand what's happening. I guess that's a good thing since I can wait and find out what's going on along with everyone else. I think it's still being published in Japan. Also, this series seems to have a strong yaoi following. Go figure.

Good quote.

When I first got my account I felt bad posting about anything non-Slayers, but anymore I don't care so much. I like to be able to show the world that I'm not just an obsessed fan and do nothing else with my time, and I also enjoy getting to know the real people on here as well. I wouldn't worry so much about it.

(I love Helen Keller! I need to watch The Miracle Worker again.)

I was going through some of my old entries and realized just how much I was posting about it. I guess I don't want people to think I haven't anything better to do. I might do it so I can have a place to do my manga reviews I seem to do everytime I get one. eh... heh

Thanks. I had thought that maybe I was going on a bit much about it, but them half the people (more than half) talk about that same stuff. Maybe I just wanted to try out my new SN I came up with! *laughs*

I've been pretty happy with having two--it means I can geek as much as I like without having to use a filter, which would automatically mean that only people on my Friends list could read it. I also use this one for communities and stuff, so anyone who feels like it can read impersonal things I write as much as they like. ^^

I actually enjoy having some crossover in my entries. I get some anime fans commenting on my Jewish stuff, and everybody who cares commenting on my emotional garbage (not everybody does that sort of thing anyway...) and I had one Jewish woman who became a major Walter x Seras fan without seeing Hellsing. (Which come to think of it may be the best way to appreciate that pairing, if it ever hits Iran she'll wonder what I was on...)

These days I have mostly anime fans on my friends list but I actually don't talk about anime that much. I just LJ-cut everything with a little explanation that it's not anime-related and nobody seems to mind.
