If I were a blessing, I wouldn't be in disguise. I'd run around naked.

Barf-O-Rama. I just loooove coming home to a sick cat. Urgh.

Didn't post on Friday because I didn't have much to post about. We had the company picnic on Sunday at the local zoo. It was pretty fun. Tiring, though. Being out in the sun for most of the day tends to do that to you. But, I'm glad we went. Usually we aren't able to make it because our church usually has its Ladies Retreat at the church camp. We didn't go this year due to a number of factors. For one thing, we're saving up for a friend of ours' wedding that's being held out of town on Memorial Day weekend and for another, since the "change of ownership" of our church, it'd be too strange to go this year.

OK, to my gamer friends out there: I'm contemplating getting a gaming system (just what I need. Something else to suck away my time). I'm leaning toward a Wii (mostly because it's less expensive). So, any suggestions/recommendations? Mostly to ease of use, types of games (non-violent ones please), ect.

And, finally something stolen from [livejournal.com profile] tricianna:

Word of the Day: sedition
Pronunciation: /se-DI-shun/
n : speech or action causing discontent or rebellion

sad to hear about the cat.......

The Nintendo Wii is definitely cheaper, but the games are good. Heck, you'd probably be thrilled just playing the Wii Sports game that comes included with the Wii. It's actually a good game for exercise, and also to help you get the hang of how to use the remote and nunchuk. I'm currently playing Super Paper Mario and loving that, but it's a platformer and rpg rolled together, so I don't know how much you'd enjoy it.

Still, the Wii was made for gamers and non-gamers alike, and I can say that I love mine!

Wii is awesome... in fact I know SEVERAL people in the area who either want one or love the one they have.

I would recomend as far as games to Sonic and the Secret Rings or the Zelda game. There are also quite a few good Star Wars games on it and coming out for it you may want to look into.

I personally think Wiis are a myth :p I've never seen one. Nobody I know owns one, and certainly haven't spotted it in stores xp
