Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

Well, we moved ALL of our crap over to the new place. Now we have a maze of boxes all over again. Hopefully we'll get everything put away in a decent amount of time so I can have actual floor space to be able to do stuff.

And we also have epic rain happening now. We do need it though, but I wish it didn't do it while we were trying to move stuff over yesterday (yes, I called into work in order to help my mom finish things up). So I'm enjoying some tea which is perfect rainy day weather.

Bought Tori's new album today. From iTunes since I didn't have access to a store. But that's cool since I got a bonus song because of it. It's pretty cool! It's pretty mellow throughout. I haven't picked a particular song I like over others yet, but give it time.

I haven't had a chance to really read my FL lately and I probably won't for a while still due to the UNpacking, but hopefully soon I can! If there's anything you want me to be aware of, drop me a line sometime.

Laters!

Cool! I'll look for it. What's it called? Is it a hard cover or a paperback?

I saw the ST novelization today and wanted to buy it, but it was $20!! (It was a trade paperback; are there paperback ones too?) I love ST but I am not paying that much money.

Yay Imax! We don't have one of those here, but ST would be great on it!

It's paperback and it's called 'Traitor." Have a looksee on my GoodReads profile to see what it looks like.

The version I bought was paperback. What's the difference between trade paperback and paperback? I wasn't aware there was a difference.

Wouldn't it?!

The trade paperback one is just taller and thinner. It's the in-between category for books between paperback and hardcover. I will look for the mass market paperback!

Thanks! I will totally totally scour the bookstore tomorrow for that. :D

Ahhh, I see. I think I bought the TPB then. Here it's about four dollars cheaper...

Let me know what you think! I may post a blurb or something on [livejournal.com profile] stnf sometime...

It's $16 American? Ouch! That's nuts.

Is the book really good - $16 worth?

[identity profile] snapdragon76.livejournal.com 2009-05-22 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
Actually it's $15.00. The Canadian price listed is $19.00. I'm speaking of the ST novelization. The TPB of Traitor is $16.00.

Hey, you're talking to someone who could easily spend over $100.00 on books, so...

I'm too poor for that right now. :( Paperbacks here are expensive enough - $12.

How is the book itself?

I know that feeling, although there are times when that doesn't even stop me. I have a sickness, I tell you...

I haven't read it yet. I'll let you know when I do though!
