Anyone who guesses where the subject line came from gets a cyber cookie.
As you can clearly tell, I've decided not to participate in the Content Strike a few LJers are doing. While I disagree with the way SUP handled this latest predicament (as well as the elimination of Basic accounts in general. Naturally this was done before I had a chance to make journals for my Kriff This! characters. This is what I get for procrastinating), I don't know how effective this campaign will be. Particularly since the company doesn't get the reports until a week or so later. They probably won't even notice the boycott.
So those of you who are participating, I wish you best of luck and I guess I'll see you in a day or so.
I bought me a paper journal to write in when I'm away from here and in case there's something I want to write down... but not publicly. I plan on starting it right away if I can.
This weekend is gonna be busy for us. Tomorrow mom and I both have hair appointments and we have groceries to get. Sunday, being Easter Sunday, we have Sunrise Services, Church Services, possibly a cantata to attend, dinner with my aunt and family and dinner with some friends of ours. *collapses*
I went to the doctor's yesterday for a check-up. Everything's good. I have to have blood work done at some point since he wants to check my sugar levels for some reason, so I have to fast for it... which means I have to come in early in the morning on an empty stomach. Joy.
I was able to get my chair, though. I told my boss about needing a new chair. She decided to just give me the one she was using. She'd recently gotten a new chair and wasn't using the one she had, so she let me use it. I don't know why she stopped using it, it's a really nice chair.
I bought Furuba 19 and SDK 27 yesterday. I'm halfway through with Furuba. Both series are drawing to a close, although Furuba is closer. It has four volumes left while SDK has about 9 or ten.
And finally, I happy birthday to
elantis. *throws bale of confetti*
