We had a bit of an adventure last night. We had to wash the cats due to their flea problem. Missy, the older one, was pretty cooperative. She'd been bathed before. She doesn't like it, but she knows what to expect. She didn't fight us as much. The other two, however... Moon, the baby girl, is a lot stronger than she looks. She nailed mom with her back claws on the leg. It took the both of us to hold her in order to lather and rinse her. Then came Ori, the boy. He's a pretty big guy and he's pretty strong, too. He fought us quite a bit also. But we were able to finish the job. Today they don't seem too mad at us for the torment they went through last night. We told 'em it was for thier own good. They didn't seem to believe us. Imagine that.

Of course now the drain in the bathtub is clogged with cat hair and although I poured Liquid Plumbr down the drain, it hasn't cleared yet. So I might have to wait until tonight to take my shower. I'm sitting here feeling a bit grungy.

I went to the bookstore yesterday (since I was at Wal-Mart looking for more storage boxes). I picked up while I was there, 'Saiyuki Reload' 3, 'FMA' 6, 'SamCham' 2, a couple of magazines, and... 'Missing In Action.' I know I said I already ordered it from Amazon, but since I forgot to change the address, it was sent back as 'undeliverable.' So I just thought, "Screw it. I'm gonna look for it in the bookstores." And there it was. Now, I just need to find the opportunity to sit down and read it.

After I get done at grandma's, I need to go to the bank and perhaps look for some Drano Crystals to try and clear up the drain problem.

Trivia of the day: Hail destroys hundreds of millions dollars' worth of crops and property each year, a greater toll than that taken by tornadoes.

You are so deprived. I had to hunt a bit before I found my copy. The store I bought it at had it just before the Sci-Fi section in the Sci-Fi New Realeases. So good luck on the continued hunt.

No it's not. And we only do it if they have a serious flea infestation like they do now. They hadn't had this problem a long time, but then we moved in here with a dog that needs to go outside and he brings the flea in with him. *sigh* My poor babies...

Her leg is fine. She treated it and it's OK. It wasn't too deep or anything.
